Get Ready For More Mature Marvel Content On Your Disney Plus!

Well it's about time! Its a homecoming for all the Marvel spin-off Shows!

Disney has announced that all six of Marvel’s original Netflix series, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Punisher, and The Defenders limited series as well as Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which had been streaming exclusively on Netflix, will ALL be moving to Disney+ starting March 16.

But that's not the kicker. For about a week or so it was understood that they would be moving to Disney's more mature content side of the streaming service under STAR. Well now its being reported via Deadline that they will in fact be available across all other Disney+ markets later this year.

Marvel President Kevin Feige had this to say, while describing the title character in the company’s Moon Knight series as “loud and brutal.

“It’s been fun to work with Disney+ and see the boundaries shifting on what we’re able to do,”

Feige continued.

“The knee-jerk reaction is, ‘We’re gonna pull back on this, right?’ No. We’re not pulling back. There’s a tonal shift,"

About Moon Knight, that is awesome to know considering that the series debuts March 30, is only two weeks after Disney+ introduces the new Parental Controls that include access to TV-MA programming.

How it will work?

When opening Disney+ for the first time on or after March 16, all subscribers in the U.S. will be prompted to update their Parental Controls. This includes the option to select content ratings restrictions for each profile, add a PIN to lock profiles, and enable a Kid-Proof Exit feature to prevent viewers from leaving their Kids Profile without completing an exit challenge.
