Last night, Director, writer and Comic Book Men creator Kevin Smith was hospitalized after a show he was hosting when suffering from what he describe as a "massive heart attack." While in the hospital Kevin reaches out to his fans via social media to describe his near death experience, and we must say it is a must read. Check it out below.
For those living up under a rock, Kevin Smith is most popular for his role as the silent sidekick to actor and friend Jason Mewes in those raunchy yet hilarious Jay and Silent Bob movies. What some people may not know, is that Smith is also the writer and director of those films such as Clerks, Mallrats, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back to name a few. Kevin is also the star and creator of the AMC series Comic book Men and has directed a few episodes for CW's The Flash and Super girl. Kevin's relationship with DC Comics started early in his career as he was a writer for numerous Green Arrow issues. So its no shocker after reading Kevin's heartfelt message that he feels somewhat accomplished in life. But we as fan are not yet ready to see you go sir! Critix media would like to send very sincere wishes for a fast recovery Mr. Smith.
