The Academy Awards is said to be working on Booking Queen B. as a performer for this Sundays Award Ceremony.
This comes from Deadline, that organizers are courting Beyoncé's presence in light of her nominated for Best Original Song for “Be Alive,” the theme from King Richard that was written by Dixson and Beyoncé.
Subtle rumors suggest that if Beyoncé appears, she will sing from the tennis courts in Compton where Venus and Serena Williams honed their game. NO word on if the performance would be live, pre-taped or even at the Dolby Theatre. The Academy did not comment.
Other nominated songs nominated at this years ceremony are Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “Dos Oruguitas,” from Encanto, there is Van Morrison for “Down to Joy,” from Belfast, and Billie Eilish and brother Finneas for the No Time To Die 007 theme. Finally, there is Diane Warren’s “Somehow You Do” from Four Good Days, sung by Reba McEntire.
As of yet, no other musical talent has been announced to perform but we will keep you updated as The Academy rounds things out.
