For decades, dog owners have been able to bring their furry children to parks, shopping malls, and more recently out to eat with them. The one thing that’s been missing from was the ability to say, enjoy the cinematic experience with your furry loved one.

Well now, that has changed as well folks. Reintroducing K-9 Cinemas out of Plano, Texas. We have to say, as true cinephiles we feel ashamed to say we didn’t know about such a gem a little sooner but we’re pretty sure we’re not the only ones. Think of what this could mean for families with service pets or emotion support animals.

So what’s the scoop on said theater you ask? Well the cinema, which has been around since Decembe 7th 2018, only hosts dog related features and you wont know what you’re seeing until they announce the film minutes before it starts.

The price? Pretty standard if you’re comparing it to the average theater costs these days. The perks however out way the competition completely. For example:

1. You’re accompanied by your cuddly little friend, friends and or family.

2. You have the choice of bottomless wine for the evening or

3. Not one, not two, not three, but four servings of whiskey

All for the price of $15 per adult, $10 per child and $5 per dog. Similar prices are what you would pay at tour traditional movie theater visit, but at K-9 Cinemas the ENTIRE family can finally attend an evening out together. No more feeling guilty about leaving any loved ones behind and for most that alone is worth the price of admission.
