Bill Murray confirmed to return in ‘Ghostbusters’ 2020!

That’s right kids, Bill Murray will be returning as Dr. Venkman for the upcoming Ghostbusters 2020, an original cast member revealed on The Greg Hill Show.

Since the new installment in the franchise was announced, fans of the series were wondering if series star Bill Murray would return to his iconic role. Murray has remained hesitant about returning since Ghostbusters 2. But now, thanks to original writer and star, Dan Aykroyd, there is confirmation of Murray’s return in the upcoming sequel.

It’s still unclear how much screen time he will have in the sequel as it’s set to star a younger team of Ghostbusters. Along with Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts have all been confirmed as returning. Unfortunately, Harold Ramis passed away in 2014 but it’s been promised his presence will be felt.
