Christian Bale says “It’s a brave thing” Joaquin Phoenix following Heath Ledger as The Joker!

While talking to ET Canada about his training and choreography process for his Hardcore fight scene with Matt Damon in ‘Ford v Ferrari’, Actor Christian Bale spoke about his thoughts on Joaquin Phoenix taking on the iconic role of ‘The Joker’

“Yea, Joaquin is one of the best actors around you know. Obviously I worked with Health, and you know It’s brave thing to follow up that performance and he always makes some really interesting choices and umm ya, I’m dying to see it. I wish him the best with that”

The Joker follows failed comedian Arthur Fleck encounters violent thugs while wandering the streets of Gotham City dressed as a clown. Disregarded by society, Fleck begins a slow dissent into madness as he transforms into the criminal mastermind known as the Joker.

It is directed by Todd Phillips and hits theaters later this year on October 4th 2019!
