Has Marvel/ Disney confirmed New Mutants is officially part of the MCU!?

Early this morning, late last night it was digitally printed on an official Disney website [www.D23.com] that the upcoming and final 21st Century Fox Marvel project The New Mutants was in fact a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

This comes from Everything Always on YouTube who caught wind of this possible misprint, which since then has been taken down, but still raises tons of questions as to where exactly will this latest X-Men installment actually take place. See the print below:

It reads: “There’s a seriously electrifying new addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it comes in the form of the latest from Twentieth Century Fox and Marvel Entertainment...”

Then continues on to the official synopsis of the film along with cast members and director.

Was this simply a misprint? Or an early leak not meant for fans to see right away? What can tell you is that this film was filmed over three years ago in the midst of the Disney/ Fox buy out and since then had its release day pushed back twice along with reshoots shot. Now this could mean nothing or it could mean that possibly during changes within Marvel Studios in relationship to the Fox Merger, they were figuring out away to include this installment into the Marvel Cinematic Universe unbeknownst to the rest of us.

What makes this all more questionable, the synopsis reads that ‘New Mutants’ “is an original horror thriller” we can question that fact since early last year Kevin Feige promised us that ‘Doctor Strange 2: And The Multi-Verse Of Madness’ would be Marvels very first Horror film.

Or maybe someone at Marvel is sloppy and has no idea as to what the “MCU” is and of which stories are actually considered to be a part of it.

Either way boys and girls its got us all talking. Check out the complete theory below and tell us what you think in the comments.

Are The New Mutants apart of the already established MCU? Do you want them to be? or is this just a misprint by the people at Marvel?
