Updated: Nov 20, 2020

Director James Gunn has been piling on the number of surprises for his upcoming Suicide Squad sequel. For instance, John Ostrander, the creator of the '80s iteration of the Suicide Squad comic was said to be making a cameo in the film. Or how about, Warner Bros. being so pleased with Gunn's work on the film that he was allowed to write a spin-off series for HBO Max based on Peacemaker, starring Jon Cena.

And now, without saying too much, Actor, Writer and Director, Sylvester Stallone announced that we would be doing "a little work" with James Gunn on The Suicide Squad

"Good morning everyone, it's Saturday and I'm on my way over to do a little work with a great director, James Gunn, on Suicide Squad 2, and I think it's gonna be a spectacular effort. I saw it and it's unbelievable. So, I'm very proud to be included and I can't tell you anything more about it because you're going to have to wait and see that, but it's going to be well worth the wait.
Anyway, keep punching, and see you in the movies."

Stallone did not disclose what role he would be playing, but that it will be "well worth the wait."
