LIZZIE MCGUIRE SET TO RETURN, SAYS HILLARY DUFF.

Just over this past weekend [December 7th] actress Hillary Duff spoke with Entertainment tonight about family, life as a mother of two AND the possible return of the popular series 'Lizzie McGuire'!

"There’s been some conversations,” the 31-year-old actress told Entertainment Tonight. "It’s definitely not a go. I don’t want to get everyone wild talking about it."

The Disney Channel series, which aired from January 2001 to February 2004, lasted two seasons and produced 65 episodes. In its run, Lizzie McGuire was plauded for answering the wishes of preteen and adolescent girls, touching on such topics as high school drama, coming into girlhood, friendships and relationships.

We think there's room for such content in today's time for a newer generation, dont you?
