MARVEL'S AGENTS OF SHIELD HAS A NEW LEADER!

The popular show Marvel's Agents of Shield will return next summer, but when it does there will be a new director in charge of the team. The first image of said new Director has been released. See below to find out who we're talking about.

That's right

! Mack McKenzie, played by Henry Simmons, will be taking captains chair in the upcoming season 6 of Agents of Shield!

"Personally, I love the challenge of being the director of S.H.I.E.L.D.," Simmons tells the outlet. "Mack has worked side-by-side with the people he now leads, and that works to his advantage — he’s one of them. But the one thing that can hinder Mack’s ability to lead is his reluctance to put the people he loves in the line of danger." As fans will recall, last season ending with Clark Gregg's Agent Coulson preparing to meet his maker, but even without the fan-favorite character in the lead, it's clear that Marvel has more stories to tell! Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns this summer for Season 6.

Last month, it was also announced that the popular series had been renewed for Season 7.

Are you all just as excited as we are to see Mack in full boss mode!?? Let us know what you think.
