The Walking Dead series has become that series that literally just will not die. With 10, going 11 seasons of its original series The Walking Dead, 6 seasons of its first spin-off Fear Of The Walking Dead, it doesn't seem as though this franchise plans to slow down anytime soon.
Now with a bit of a twist, The Walking Dead is catering to a much younger audience. The Walking Dead: World Beyond follows a group of teenagers sheltered from the dangers of the post-apocalyptic world, who then receive a message that inspires them to leave the safety of the only home they have ever known and embark on a cross-country journey to save their father.
The series was originally slated to air April 2nd but due to the COVID pandemic in March AMC decided to put a halt on the premiere. The series will now premiere on Sunday, October 4 at 10:00 pm/9c, immediately following The Walking Dead. A special episode of Talking Dead, discussing both episodes, will air after The Walking Dead: World Beyond.
