'STRANGER THINGS' SEASON 3 ON HOLD UNTIL 2019


Netflix confirmed During the Television Critic's Association's press tour that 'Stranger Things' will not be returning for its third season until the summer of 2019.

Although delayed, Netflix programming executive Cindy Holland says, that it’ll be “worth the wait.”


Cindy Holland also noted that the the show’s creators, Matt and Ross Duffer and Shawn Levy, were aware of the expectations for the next season of the supernatural show and said that “they want to deliver something bigger and better than what they did last year. And so, they really want to take the time to get it right.


The sci-fi drama was confirmed for a third season last December and recently, the online streaming service shared a teaser for the upcoming series.. The trailer appears to be set in the year 1985, two years after its first season. Watch below.

Whether 2019 or years after, we're pretty sure fans will be waiting for the return of the beloved kids of Hawkins. And so will we here at CritiX.
