The Batman Could Stream On HBOMax As Soon As April 2022!

Nowadays the way we watch movies has changed dramatically. Not only the way we watch, but also when we watch.

The good news IS that Warner has move on from their not so profitable day-and-day release schedule and has moved on to a 45 day window from release schedule. In a recent interview with Warner Media CEO, Jason Kilar, It was confirmed that The Batman will stream on HBOMax in April 2022, just 46 days after it arrives exclusively in theaters.

HBO Max has not released the official date for The Batman’s streaming premiere, but on Vox’s Recode podcast Kilar assured us that the movie will be streaming right after its theatrical run.

"Think about when movies would show up on HBO, which is eight to nine months after theatrical premiere. The Batman is going to show up on day 46 on HBO Max," Kilar said. "That is a huge change from where things were in 2018, 2017, 2016."

Kilar said.

Currently, The Batman — which stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader and Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman — notched an estimated $128.5 million at the North American box office this weekend, according to its studio Warner Bros.

The opening flew past industry expectations that had the movie making closer to under a $100 million. It stands as the best opening of 2022 so far.
