The Falcon And The Winter Soldier Set To Start Filming This Week.

According to Sebastian Stan the actor who plays The Winter Soldier; filming will begin this week for Marvel’s The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. The series will take place following Steve Rogers giving the mantel of Captain America to Sam Wilson. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will be a six episode series written by showrunner Malcolm Spellman and directed by Kari Skogland.

With Steve Rodgers no longer in the super hero game Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes step up to fill the void. Sam’s storyline will focus around the government not wanting Sam to take over as Captain America. The show will also focus on Bucky attempting to shed the Winter Solider leaving all that comes with that behind him and embracing the White Wolf persona. The news of the start of the filming was revealed by Stan in a recent appearance he gave at a convention. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is set to premiere next year.
