The 'Madam Web' Roster Assembles In Character Posters!

Today, Sony Pictures released a brand new look at team Madam Webb from the upcoming Sony/Marvel Spider-Man spin-off.

The posters featuring a look at the main heroes and villain which features Cassandra Webb played by Dakota Johnson, Julia Carpenter [Sydney Sweeney], Mattie Franklin [Celeste O'Connor], Anya Corazón [Isabela Merced] and Unknown Villain, Ezekiel Sims [Tahar Rahim].

Little has been said about the overall plot of the film but based-on the synopsis we now know that this particular story takes place outside of the main continuity. Possibly even different from the 616 universe as we know it.

Synopsis:

"Meanwhile, in another universe…” In a switch from the typical genre, Madame Web tells the standalone origin story of one of Marvel publishing's most enigmatic heroines. The suspense-driven thriller stars Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Webb, a paramedic in Manhattan who may have clairvoyant abilities. Forced to confront revelations about her past, she forges a relationship with three young women destined for powerful futures...if they can all survive a deadly present.

With Venom coming up on its third installment and the new addition by the upcoming Kraven the Hunter, Madame Web will be the fourth installment in Sony's Spider-Man Universe.

Check out the new character posters from Madame Web below, and sling into theaters on February 14.
