Alicia Vikander will don the duel pistols once again as she is set to star in yet another Tomb Raider film. The squeal will be getting a new director as Ben Wheatley takes the reigns replacing previous director Roar Uthaug.
This new set of Tomb Raider films is base on the 2013 version of the video game classic. In the first film we seen Vikander as Lara Croft attempting to solve the mystery of her fathers disappearance.
The film went on to gross 275 million worldwide, not a huge haul of cash but enough for the studio and producers to give it another go. Production for the Tomb Raider squeal is set to begin next year with a release date of March 19, 2021.
