DC Developing Suicide Squad Spin-Off Focused on Amanda Waller For HBOMax!

Its been report by Variety that Viola Davis is in talks to star in an Amanda Waller-focused series for HBO Max.

No specifi plot details have been reveale, but it is said to be picking up where Peacemaker's finale left off when the character appeared in the The Suicide Squad spin-off.

Davis would executive produce the series in addition to starring. Christal Henry would write and executive produce. Henry’s past credits include the hit HBO limited series “Watchmen,” on which she wrote the episode “If You Don’t Like My Story, Write Your Own.” James Gunn would executive produce along with Peter Safran. Warner Bros. Television will produce.
