Funko Animated Movie Is In The Works From Warner Bros.

In what seems like a no brainer; Warner Brothers Animation will be making a Funko animated feature. Funko has become wildly popular in recent years with their pop culture bobbleheads featured at just about every comic con and gracing the shelf's of every comic book store.

With the growing popularity of Funko it only seemed a matter of time till we seen an animated film. Although yet not confirmed it has been rumored that the Funko movie will feature the likes of Deadpool, Darth Vader, My Little Pony, and Harley Quinn.

With such a mashup of different characters some are predicting that the new Funko film will draw similarities to The LEGO Movie series.

The CEO of Funko Brian Mariotti issued a statement on the upcoming film.

“This isn’t about selling toys or building a brand. The team at Warner Animation Group have a unique vision of what the first film should be and we are extremely excited to take this journey alongside them”
