James Gunn's 'SUPERMAN' Has Arrive In An Emotional First Trailer!

Today DC Studios released their first officila trailer for the rebirth of DC's cinematic universe with 'SUPERMAN'.

The trailer begins with our hero vulnerably crashing into the snowy Antarctic, bruised and bleeding but not long before he lets out a whistle for help. Suddenly a gust of wind pushes through the snow as we then see Crypto The Dog dressed in a matching cape as Superman, setting up the serious and lighthearted tone for many of us did not expect.

The trailer continues to show other unexpected surprises, such as every cameo Gunn promised. Nathan Fillion's green Lantern, Isabela Merced's Hawk Girl, Metamorpho played by Anthony Carrigan and even Edi Gathegi' Mr. Terrific.

We even get a small glance at Rachel Brosnahan's Lois Lane and Clark Kents Father Jonathan Kent, played by Pruitt Taylor.

What we thought about the trailer:

Although anticipation has been very high with ecxpectations easy to discourage, we found that even though the trailer didn't give us anything that we have not seen in the superhero world, let alone a Superman world, the emotional connection was there through the John Williams score stepping through the background of every shot. that alone has set us up to get ready for a clean slate within the DC universe. But when it comes the new and non familiar aspects of of Mr. Gunns vision, we'll just have to wait and see what James Gunn has got when it comes to telling a cinematic story. In other words, you have our interest Mr. Gunn.
