Michael B. Jordan debuts the ‘Without Remorse’ teaser trailer a Tom Clancy movie!

How many of you all remember the video game “Rainbow 6”? Well now it’s being adapted to the big screen starring Michael B. Jordan.

debuted a teaser trailer for Paramount's Without Remorse to his Instagram on Wednesday, offering a first look at the upcoming Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six adaptation.

Without Remorse stars Jordan as John Kelly, a Navy SEAL, who goes on a path to avenge his wife's murder only to find himself inside of a larger conspiracy. It is slated to hit theaters on September 18, 2020.

Without Remorse adaptation has been in development

for over a decade, with reports of director John Singleton planning to make the movie popping up all the way back in 2006. In 2012, Jack Reacher helmer

Christopher McQuarrie was also in talks to write and direct a Without Remorse movie

, but clearly that version didn't pan out.

Jordan's involvement as John Clark

was announced in September 2018. Clark was previously portrayed on screen by Willem Dafoe in 1994's Clear and Present Danger and Liev Schrieber in 2002's The Sum of All Fears. Many actors have been considered for the part over the years, including

Keanu Reeves

,

Gary Sinese

and, most recently,

Tom Hardy

.

John Clark is one of Tom Clancy's best-known main characters and appears in 18 of his novels and a number of video games. Clancy's other best-known character, Jack Ryan, is being played by John Krasinski in Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan on Amazon Prime.

Directed by Stefano Sollima, ‘Without Remorse’ also stars Jamie Bell, Cam Gigandet, Jodie Turner-Smith, Luke Mitchell and Colman Diego.
