CRITIX'S MUST SEE MOVIES BEFORE THE END OF 2018!

2018 has just about wrapped up and we must say it has been a pretty decent year for film. 2019 has promised to bring nothing but heat, with blockbusters from Marvel Studio's, the anticipated 'IT' sequel, and even The Lion King live action movie, so you don't want to be left behind playing catch up come next year.


With that being said, we here at CritiX want to take this moment to recommend to all of you CritiX, the must see films of 2018, before the start of 2019! Let's begin shall we?

10. A SIMPLE FAVOR [9/14/18]

CritiX Rating: 3.5 X's out of 5X's


Stephanie is a single mother with a parenting vlog who befriends Emily, a secretive upper-class woman who has a child at the same elementary school. When Emily goes missing, Stephanie takes it upon herself to investigate.


This suspenseful yet hilarious pieces makes for the perfect girls a night and for anyone who loves a good mind f*@$!. Blake Lively’s performance is massive on screen!

9. WHITE BOY RICK [9/14/18]

The story of teenager Richard Wershe Jr., who became an undercover informant for the FBI during the 1980s and was ultimately arrested for drug-trafficking and sentenced to life in prison.


Watch this incredible story and prepared to be shocked by the workings of our broken system when doing “whatever it takes” to catch a criminal takes control of a 16 year old kids life!

This film rejuvenates the action genre and franchise which is Mission Impossible! Get ready for a edge of your seat thrill ride from start to finish! An absolute must see!

5. BLACKkKLANSMEN [8/10/2018]

Ron Stallworth, an African American police officer from Colorado Springs, CO, successfully manages to infiltrate the local Ku Klux Klan branch with the help of a Jewish surrogate who eventually becomes its leader. Based on actual events.

If you enjoy a good easter egg in a film, then you should make your way to a redbox, or nearest Best Buy to pick you up a copy of this virtual bucket of pop culture fun!

This film appears to be more “woke” than most. The messages within are not for the close minded!

Who doesnt enjoy an awesome comeback story? Creed II wins over and over. You will cheer, you will clap, you will never want it to end!

This years biggest box office smash just in front of Black Panther. And with the next installment do to hit theaters next April, you do not want to have to play catch up at the last minute!
