New Jersey’s Got Nards: New Jersey's Horror Con Reunites The Cast Of 'THE MONSTER SQUAD' and More!

Usually horror is not my scene. Anyone who has seen my contributions for Critix should have heard the term “DJ don’t do scary”. So why would I be driving 4 hours each way to hit up the New Jersey Horror Con? Two words…. MONSTER SQUAD!! 

Now do not get me wrong the line up this year is exceptional. On top of my buddy Keith Coogan (Adventures In Babysitting) you have a slew of cast from Nightmare on Elm Street, Night of the Demons, Child’s Play etc. So there is truly something for everyone. Again however, it is all about the Squad. 

The cult classic from 1986 tells the story of a group of courageous kids who battle Dracula, The Mummy, and the Wolfman. The Goonies vs Classic Monster theme is something so outrageous that it could have only happened in the 80s. The movie, which was a box office flop during its release has taken on a life of its own in the nearly 40 years since, and fans have clamored to meet the cast and attend special screenings. 

This weekend bring the biggest cast gathering I have ever seen including favorites Andre Gower (Sean), Duncan Regehr (Dracula) & Ryan Lambert (Rudy).
