If you are heading to San Diego Comic-Con 2026 and you have even a single drop of kid energy left in your body, Nickelodeon is about to find it and absolutely drench it in green slime.

This year Nick is not just showing up to the convention floor. They are taking over. Two separate experiences, one inside the convention center and one outside in the city itself, are coming together to create what might honestly be one of the most fun stops at SDCC this summer. And the best part? One of them is completely free to the public.

Here is everything you need to know before you go.

Inside the Convention Center: The Fun-Ergy Factory

Head to Booth 4113 on the convention floor and you will find Nickelodeon's 1,800 square foot Fun-Ergy Factory waiting for you. This is not a booth you walk through and grab a flyer from. This is an experience built around the idea that fan energy is the fuel and the payoff is a nearly 20-foot Slime Surge that fans work together to trigger through interactive challenges.

Let that sink in. Twenty feet of slime. Powered by the crowd. At Comic-Con. This is going to be chaos in the best possible way.

Beyond the Slime Surge you have got Enter the Splat, a fully immersive tactile environment where you can literally step inside Nickelodeon's iconic world and capture some genuinely shareable photo and video moments. There is also a TMNT sewer lair photo op alongside the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles which is exactly the kind of thing that makes you feel like a kid again regardless of how old you actually are.

Collectors will also want to pay attention because the retail offerings at this booth are no joke. We are talking TMNT x G.I. Joe collectible figures, a BossLogic x Avatar Legends limited edition art print and an Avatar: The Last Airbender Book 3 Fire vinyl soundtrack album. If any of those words just made your heart race a little you already know what to do.

Talent and character appearances are also on the schedule along with daily giveaways so plan to make more than one visit if you can.

Outside the Convention Center: Fun Flows Here

This is where things get really interesting for families and for anyone who wants to experience SDCC energy without being inside the convention center itself.

Nickelodeon is partnering with The New Children's Museum to bring Fun Flows Here to life at The New Children's Museum Park at 200 W. Island Ave. This outdoor activation is free to the public and it is built for exactly the kind of nonstop play and nostalgic joy that Nickelodeon has always delivered.

The lineup includes an interactive stage show hosted by Kids Imagine Nation pulling from PAW Patrol, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Thundermans and Star Trek: Scouts. There are photo installations featuring SpongeBob SquarePants, Avatar: The Last Airbender and the Kids Choice Awards. There is make your own slime. There are DJ sets and prize raffles and live animated character drawing demos.

And yes. There is a slime booth where select fans get the chance to step inside and get absolutely drenched in the iconic green goo. Nickelodeon's highest honor, officially available at SDCC 2026.

The weekend caps off with something truly special. On Friday July 25 from 7pm to 9pm there is an outdoor screening of The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants. A free movie night in San Diego. Under the stars. With SpongeBob. You really cannot beat that.

The Dates You Need

Fun-Ergy Factory at Convention Center Booth 4113 is running throughout SDCC. Fun Flows Here at The New Children's Museum Park kicks off Thursday July 24 and runs through the weekend with the movie night landing Friday July 25.

If you are at SDCC this year, Booth 4113 and The New Children's Museum Park need to be on your itinerary. Nickelodeon is bringing the kind of energy that reminds you exactly why you fell in love with this stuff in the first place.
