HBO Max Returns To New York Comic Con With IT: WELCOME TO DERRY Fan Experience And Cast Panels For IT: WELCOME TO DERRY And A KNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS

HBO Max is about to make New York Comic Con 2025 a nightmare and a dream come true. The streamer has unveiled a powerhouse lineup headlined by two of its most anticipated series: IT: Welcome to Derry and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.

Starting Thursday, October 9, fans can step inside their deepest childhood fears at the “Face Your Fears” immersive experience, a bone-chilling walkthrough of a 1960s child’s bedroom set in the haunted town of Derry, Maine. Expect eerie characters, interactive scares tailored to you, and a terrifying finale with the looming threat of Pennywise. For those brave enough, RSVP info will drop on @IT_Official but badges and courage are required.

Then on Saturday, October 11, the IT: Welcome to Derry panel takes over the Empire Stage, featuring director Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, Jason Fuchs, Brad Caleb Kane, and stars Jovan Adepo, Taylour Paige, Chris Chalk, James Remar, Stephen Rider, and Kimberly Guerrero. They’ll share never-before-seen footage and a red-band uncensored trailer that promises to haunt your dreams.

Not to be outdone, on Thursday, October 9, fans can also journey back to Westeros for the A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms panel. George R.R. Martin, Ira Parker, and stars Peter Claffey and Dexter Sol Ansell will introduce this new saga set a century before Game of Thrones, offering the first look at Dunk and Egg’s epic rise.

Whether you’re ready to float with Pennywise or ride with House Targaryen, HBO Max is bringing the worlds you love straight to NYCC and we’ll be there to cover it all.

IT: Welcome to Derry: "Face Your Fears” Horror Fan Experience

Location: Convention Floor, Booth 1207

• HBO Max will bring the “Face Your Fears” immersive horror fan experience inspired by “IT: Welcome to Derry” to New York Comic Con. The AI driven activation invites guests into a deceptively idyllic home set in 1960s Derry, Maine, where eerie characters and various interactive elements reveal a series of personalized scares designed to bring their specific childhood fears to life. The experience culminates in a frightening finale featuring the looming threat of Pennywise before returning to reality.

Space will be limited, with reservations available on a first-come, first-served basis. A New York Comic Con badge will be required for entry, and all guests must be 18 or older.

HBO/HBO Max presents “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” – Journey into Westeros with Dunk and Egg Panel

• Step back into Westeros, a century before “Game of Thrones,” with unlikely duo, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg. Co-creator and executive producer George R.R. Martin, co-creator/showrunner Ira Parker, and stars Peter Claffey (Ser Duncan “Dunk” the Tall) and Dexter Sol Ansell (Egg) introduce the new HBO Original series “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.” The panel will be moderated by Brandon Davis, host of “Phase Hero: A Film & TV Podcast.” The new series will debut on HBO and HBO Max in 2026.
