The Scream franchise has always understood one crucial thing. Fear does not just come from what you see. It comes from what you hear. With Scream 7, that tradition continues in a big way as Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media Group unveil a chilling lineup of original songs from some of today’s most exciting and genre-bending artists.
Rather than dropping a full soundtrack all at once, Scream 7 is rolling out its original music throughout the month of February, building tension and anticipation the same way the films themselves do. Slowly, deliberately, and with intent.
The Month-Long Musical Kill Count: Release Schedule
The original songs debut across February, each one adding a new emotional and sonic layer to the world of Scream 7.
February 13 “Rearranging Scars” by Sueco
February 19 “Twisting the Knife” by Ice Nine Kills, featuring Mckenna Grace
February 27 “Criminal” by Jessie Murph
February 27 “The Kill” by Stella Lefty
More artists and tracks are expected to be announced, making this soundtrack rollout feel less like a standard album release and more like a slow-burn horror event in its own right.
As for the film, Scream 7 sees a new Ghostface killer ( or Killers) who emerge in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott has built a life away from violence. When her daughter becomes the next target, Sidney is forced to confront the horrors she thought she had left behind and fight once more to end the cycle of bloodshed.
The film is directed by Kevin Williamson, returning to the franchise not only as creator but also as director, with a screenplay by Williamson and Guy Busick, and a story by James Vanderbilt and Busick.
The film features a massive ensemble that honors the franchise’s past while pushing it forward. The cast includes Neve Campbell, Isabel May, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, David Arquette, Courteney Cox, Roger L. Jackson, Matthew Lillard, Joel McHale, Mckenna Grace, and many more.
The original songs from the Scream 7 soundtrack roll out throughout February, with multiple tracks landing on February 27, the same day the film arrives in theaters.
Scream 7 opens exclusively in theaters, including IMAX, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, ScreenX, and Premium Large Formats, on February 27, 2026.
If this soundtrack rollout is any indication, Scream 7 is not just bringing Ghostface back. It is making sure you feel every cut along the way.
