Stars Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin and Director Shawn Levy Visit Maracanã Stadium & Ipanema Beach

Marvel Studios released photos from the “Deadpool & Wolverine” fan event and photocall in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil—the next stop in the campaign’s global tour. Stars Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin and director Shawn Levy were on hand for the events, which included a surprise appearance at the fan event held at Cidade das Artes and a visit to the world-famousMaracanã Stadium, with a chance to kick penalties during a mini-soccer training held by celebrated soccer players David Luiz and Pedro Guilherme. In addition, they visited the famed Ipanema Beach where the group posed for photos overlooking the sea, and Corrin made a stop at the Christ the Redeemer statue, an iconic Brazilian landmark.

Shawn Levy directs “Deadpool & Wolverine,” which stars Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, and Matthew Macfadyen.
