Sylvester Stallone Is Not Happy About ROCKY Spin-off, Says Dolph Lundgren went ‘Behind’ His Back!

With all the positive hype and buzz surrounding Michael B. Jordan's Creed III and the recently rumored new spin-off based on the unlikable Russian Ivan 'Drago', it appears that one key element to the Rocky franchise isn't to excited about the most recent add on.

Since Stallone's public outburst in regards to wanting a piece of The Rocky franchise in which he built, Stallone clearly has had enough Producer Irwin Winkler and now Co-Star Dolph Lundgren.

Us Weekly reports that Actor, Director and Writer, Sylvester Stallone took to social media in a now deleted post to express his feelings about the announced spin-off featuring his old friend and co-star Dolph Lundgren.

“ONCE AGAIN, IRWIN WINKLER, this PATHETIC 94-year-old PRODUCER and HIS MORONIC VULTURE CHILDREN, Charles And David, are once again picking clean THE BONES of another wonderful character I created without even telling me …” the Golden Globe winner, 76, wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post on Saturday, July 30. “I APOLOGIZE to the FANS, I never wanted ROCKY characters to be exploited by these parasites.”

Stallone is also stating the film was being produced without his knowledge. continuing with a few choice words about Lundgren, 64, for agreeing to take part in the project, despite allegedly knowing that he was against it.

“By the way, I once had nothing but respect for Dolph but he NEVER told me about what was going on behind my back with the character I created for him!!! REAL FRIENDS Are more precious than gold.”

And it didn't stop there. Stallone continued In a second post, which has also been deleted, where he described Irwin Winkler as “the most hated, untalented, decrepit person in Hollywood, claiming they want to “suck Rocky dry” for their own gain. “RETURN MY RIGHTS BLOODSUCKERS!” he wrote. “Throughout history so many artists in every industry, recording, painting ,writing, you name it have been destroyed by these blood suckers Who have destroyed so many families, lining their pockets with other people[‘s money]!”

Neither Winkler nor Lundgren have publicly commented on Stallone’s posts.

On Thursday, July 28, we reported that a Rocky spinoff centered on Russian fighter Ivan Drago was in the works set to follow the Russian fighter’s son, Viktor Drago — played by Florian Munteanu (Shang -Chi) in 2018’s Creed II.
